“I feel privileged to be able assist people in their life and healing journeys. I practice Chinese medicine and acupuncture because it has always been the first choice of health care in my family.
I was initially drawn to support athletes in all aspects of sport with Chinese medicine and acupuncture. My passion was to not only aid in the rehabilitation of athletic injuries, but also, help athletes maintain a healthy state to best perform in their sports. Having been frustrated with health practitioners in my past who kept telling me to ‘just stop doing the sport to prevent injury’, I was inspired to become a practitioner who understands athletes. As an athlete, I know that we will always continue to push ourselves to the limit both physically and mentally because it is what we love to do. Athletes require health practitioners who can support us in our quest for success and fun.
I knew early on in my 5 year Doctorate program that I wanted to support women in their fertility and hormone health. I deeply believe that hormones are the root of each individual woman. It is exciting to help empower women to learn more about their hormone health. A natural progression of helping women to obtain optimal hormonal health, is to also support women in all aspects of their lives into pregnancy and menopause. Observing women healing has now become one of my favourite aspects of my practice.”
