Osteopaths use physical manipulation, stretching and massage with the aim of: increasing the mobility of joints. relieving muscle tension.
Functional Medicine
Functional Medicine is a systems biology–based approach that focuses on identifying and addressing the root cause of disease. Each symptom or differential diagnosis may be one of many contributing to an individual’s illness.
IV Nutrient Therapy
Administering nutrients intravenously provides several advantages over oral supplementation.
1. Higher doses can be administered which are immediately available to cells.
2. Nothing is lost due to poor digestion or absorption within the digestive tract.
3. A wide variety of nutrients, minerals, anti-oxidants and herbal extracts are available.
IVs are used for acute infections (colds/flus), chronic fatigue, sport performance, anxiety, depression, cancer, chronic pain, pre/post surgery and for many other conditions.
Treatments take 20 to 90 minutes.
Prices starting at $99
Vitamin Injections
Vitamin B12 (as methylcobalamin) is an important compound required for energy production, nerve function and several other important biochemical pathways.
Absorption of this nutrient is poor and is commonly deficient the healthy population, but especially for vegetarians/vegans and endurance athletes.
The B12 shot is a painless injection into the shoulder muscle.
Regular dose (1000mcg) - $20
High dose (5000mcg) - $35
Prolotherapy
Prolotherapy is an injection therapy used to aid the body in the proliferation and strengthening of joint tissue. It is used in injuries involving partial tearing of a tendon or ligament, osteoarthritis, degenerative vertebral discs and hyper-mobile or unstable joints. A series of treatments are required, though many patients notice improvement after the first or second treatment.
Initial visit and treatment (60min) - $220
Follow up treatment (30min) - $160
Is an injection therapy of highly concentrated platelets which are derived from the patients’ own blood sample. The platelets store compounds known as growth factors which stimulate the body’s healing process after injury. The major concept is to inject these concentrated growth factors directly into the site of injury to rapidly accelerate the healing process.
PRP is used in both acute and chronic injuries involving tendon, ligament, unstable joints, degenerating discs and osteoarthritis. For those who respond to PRP therapy, improvements are often noticed after a single treatment, however a series of treatments over the course of several months may be required. PRP is especially considered in cases of chronic pain (longer than 3 months) or for patients wanting to return to athletics as soon as possible.
Initial Consultation & PRP - $600
Follow Up PRP - $600
Medicinal herbs are a valuable part of natural health care. Medicinal herbs are highly effective and safe when used alone or in combination with other treatments. The typical herbal prescription involves liquid extracts, called tinctures. Tinctures have higher potency, optimal absorption and are always combined into customized formulas, specific to our patients' needs. NDs have extensive training in formulating personalized tinctures for a wide variety of health concerns.
Conditions where Botanical Medicine thrives:
-Hormone balancing
-Insomnia
-Pain management
-Acute and chronic Infections
-Lyme and Tick-borne illness
-Anxiety and Depression
-Adrenal Fatigue and Chronic Stress
-Fatigue and poor memory
Acupuncture treatments are beneficial for cases of chronic stress, anxiety, insomnia, infertility, pain and many other conditions. Acupuncture is safe during pregnancy.
Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS), also known as dry needling, involves the use of acupuncture needles for the treatment of muscle pain, often related to trigger points. IMS is often a simple and effective treatment for trigger point pain. In some cases IMS needling is used in conjunction with trigger point injections of procaine or with prolozone therapy.
Treatments are also offered by our NDs and physio!
Food Sensitivity Testing
The food sensitivity test is commonly recommended for patients to undercover possible sources of inflammation. It is useful with symptoms such as bloating, fatigue, acne, rashes, migraines or may also contribute to auto-immune conditions such as hypothyroidism.
The test requires a simple finger-prick and results are typically available within 7 business days. The test measures your blood reaction to 120 common foods and provides a clear report of which foods to avoid.
An initial naturopathic visit is required for any lab testing.
Lab Testing
Our NDs can order the same lab tests that you would get with your medical doctor, but in addition, we have a dedicated lab space which allows us to provide a wide variety of comprehensive tests and panels. These tests are at the cutting-edge and are often required in diagnosing the root cause of your symptoms. Common tests assess for: food allergies, hormone and thyroid imbalances, and heavy metal and mold toxicity. Some tests are done in-office while others are completed at home.
Prices vary. Call the clinic to inquire of testing for a specific lab test.
Homeopathic remedies are gentle, energetic remedies that are great for treating the whole body, including mental and emotional concerns. They are safe for babies and children who are too young for other therapies. They do not interact with any of your current treatments or medications.
Dr MacIver offer homeopathic consultations.
Trigger Point Therapy
Trigger points or ‘muscle knots’ tend to occur after localized injury or as a compensatory mechanism to aid in stabilizing a nearby injured joint. Often these painful regions can be treated successfully with massage therapy or IMS. When trigger points remain or reoccur, a simple injection into the region can have near immediate benefit. While a trigger point injection may relieve the pain quickly, a complete physical assessment is always warranted.
Chelation treatments have two main functions. First, it is used to pull heavy metals out of the body. This applies for both current or past exposure. A urine test is first required to assess if high levels of metals are present, and which particular metals. IV treatments are then used to reduce the amount back to safe levels. Second, chelation is a powerful treatment for heart disease (atherosclerosis). It has been shown to be highly effective at improving blood flow, lowering blood pressure and reducing risk of heart attack and stroke. Sometimes 20 or more treatments are required.
Genetic Medicine
Your genes are the codes to make all the proteins and enzymes in your body. When small errors (called SNPs) in the genetic code occur, the proteins that are made take on a slightly different shape and sometimes that makes a big difference in how that protein will function. With the information gathered from genetic testing, we can support those biochemical pathways that have the most genetic changes associated with it. Genetic testing (requiring only a saliva sample) is still in its infancy but can provide useful treatment information in both chronic illness and for general health promotion.
We recommend testing using 'your genomic resource' instead of the popular 23 and Me kits. These kits provide more data and we can ensure that your personal genetic information is kept safe.
Kits are available at the clinic!
Pharmaceutical Medicine
The naturopathic doctors at Euphoria Natural Health have each taken additional training and are qualified to prescribe, modify and aid in the weening of most pharmaceutical medicines.
Low-Dose Immunotherapy (LDI)
Low-Dose Immunotherapy is an easy and effective way to decrease immune over-activity in cases of allergies, chemical sensitivity, autoimmune diseases, and chronic Lyme disease.
The procedure involves administering very diluted antigen formulas, chosen specifically for your condition. This treatment is safe for children.
This treatment of only offered by Dr. Melanie MacIver.
Chiropractic care focusing in neuro-rehabilitation, assessing and treating concussion/mTBI, post-concussion syndromes, vertigo/dizziness, headaches, and pain.
This service is offered by Dr Andreas Stridsland
Neural therapy is used in the treatment of nerve-related chronic pain. Often what is experienced as muscle and/or joint pain can actually be partially caused by inflammation along the nerve pathway, leading to an exaggerated pain response. This treatment involves injections just below the skin along the common nerve pathways.

Conditions Treated
Below are some of the conditions we commonly treat. Click the title to learn more.
A common concern in our busy, stressful world. Luckily, naturopathic medicine has much to offer. The ND approach involves first starting with the fundamentals of diet and lifestyle. Hormone testing is often helpful but may not always be required. Treatment options include supplements, tinctures, IV nutrient therapy, acupuncture and sometimes pharmaceutical interventions may be considered for the short-term. Because no two cases of adrenal fatigue are the same, an personalized treatment plan designed by an ND will you regain your energy and return to your full potential.
At the very core of health, one finds a properly functioning digestive tract. For this reason we always focus our efforts on ensuring that digestion remains optimal. The naturopathic medical approach works very well for the vast majority of digestive concerns. Each of the naturopathic doctors at Euphoria are capable of treating these concerns. IV therapy is an important consideration to ensure adequate nutrients are being absorbed while working to improve the digestive concerns. We carry a wide variety of products that will be helpful in these cases, from probiotics, enzymes, anti-microbials and much more.
Hypo and hyperthyroidism are very common medical condition, esp in women. Lab testing is often required to assess for the root cause of the condition. With pharmaceutical prescriptive rights, each of our NDs are able to manage thyroid cases using both natural medicine (nutrients/herbs/thyroid tissue/bio-identical hormones) and pharmaceutical medicine. Cases of hypothyroidism are often missed or left untreated for too long. Each of our naturopathic doctors are fully capable of assessing, treating and managing even the most complex thyroid conditions.
Everyone hates succumbing to the common cold. There is a lot we can offer to help shorten the duration of the infection and also to boost the immune system to prevent from ever getting infected. The main treatment options include herbal and mushroom tinctures, supplements or IV therapy (either the ‘Immune booster’ or the ‘Flu Fighter’). Nebulized treatments are also widely used to help with these symptoms.
Fatigue may be the most commonly treated condition by our naturopathic doctors. Starting with a very broad assessment, we aim to uncover any and all of the contributing factors. In certain cases, we may recommend lab tests, including hormone panels or a heavy metal analysis. As always, we will recommend dietary and lifestyle changes, assess for nutrient deficiencies and likely recommend IV therapy as it is the most effective way to boost energy in the short term. If the fatigue is long-standing, we will assess for chronic infections as this is a common reason for fatigue that doesn’t improved with the ‘first-line’ therapies.
Whether due to a recent accident or a chronic concern, naturopathic medicine has a lot to offer. After a thorough history-taking and physical assessment, a treatment plan would address all potential sources of inflammation (with diet, lifestyle, supplements or herbs). With acute injuries, several injection therapies are available including PRP, Prolotherapy, Prolozone, Neuro-prolotherapy, Trigger Point therapy and cortisone shots, with Dr. Sal Meli. Acupuncture with Natalie Yu is also a good option for sport-related joint pain. Natalie is an experienced acupuncturist and treats all joint injuries.
Osteoarthritis (OA) is a joint disorder characterized by degeneration of the supportive joint cartilage, resulting in chronic pain and stiffness. The goal in treatment for OA is to maintain and proliferate this cartilage so that the cushion between bones is maintained. PRP (an injection therapy) has substantial supportive evidence to greatly improve joint function and reduce pain, even in more advanced cases. Specific nutrient supplements are also used to reduce inflammation and pain. If you’re wanted an alternative to continual pain killers or joint replacement surgery, consult with Dr. Meli to determine if PRP is right for you.
Fibromyalgia (FM) patients do very well when treated with the naturopathic approach. This is a complex condition and needs to be addressed from a multi-factorial approach. This essentially means investigating and addressing any and all sources of systemic inflammation while supporting cellular energy production to combat the associated fatigue. The emphasis in treating FM involved correcting nutrient deficiencies, ensuring optimal digestive function, reducing oxidative cellular damage and assessing for and treating lingering viral, bacterial or parasitic infections. Dr. Sal Meli focuses on pain-related conditions and has had great success treating patients with fibromyalgia.
Autoimmune diseases are complex, often multi-system disorders. The more common diseases include rheumatoid arthritis, Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, multiple sclerosis, Lupus, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, Type-1 diabetes and psoriasis. The common thread amongst each condition is an over-active and misguided immune response. Addressing the root causes of the ‘immune dysfunction’ is critical for lasting improvement. Dr. Matt Greenwood has extensive experience in the treatment of chronic autoimmune diseases. All required testing and treatments are available at Euphoria.
Lyme and related infections often lead to chronic illness when the initial infection is not property addressed. Complete, comprehensive testing is required to understand this infection. We use Armin Labs in Germany for testing to ensure the most accurate results possible. With any tick-borne infection, treating the whole person is essential. This requires adequate immune support, detoxification, energy/mitochondrial support and antibiotic medications or herbs. Dr. Meli is a Lyme-literate ND, trained at ILADS with additional training in Functional Medicine. He is well-versed in and has full access to all advanced Lyme-specific treatments including: herbal medicine, pharmaceutical antibiotics (including IV antibiotics), ozone therapy, chelation therapy, IV nutrient therapy and Lyme-specific supplements. Whether you were recently bitten by a tick, have chronic/late-stage Lyme or have chronic symptoms that you suspect might be Lyme, we can help. Book an initial assessment with Dr. Meli.
We offer integrative and evidence-based cancer care. Dr. Matthew Greenwood and our team provide care that is complementary to the current standard of care and increases the effectiveness of chemotherapy, radiation and targeted therapies. We offer a wide range of therapies to support your body’s healing process and fight against cancer. Some of these therapies include: IV High-dose Intravenous Vitamin C, IV Artensunate, Mistletoe therapy, Low Dose Naltrexone. IV DCA, Personalized nutritional support, Chemotherapy, radiation, and targeted therapy support These treatment options allow us to provide better quality of life, reduced side effects of standard of care treatments, and most importantly we provide science-based and effective cancer care support to ensure successful results.
Mold Toxicity
Mold is pervasive in Squamish and surrounding area due to the high moisture. The health impacts of mold exposure range from mild to debilitating. Mold is rarely considered as a cause of illness in the mainstream medical system.
Dr. Sal Meli is well versed in testing for and treating mold toxicity. Advanced testing for mold toxicity via urine testing is commonly assessed.
Home test kits are available to assess mold spores in the home and workplace. These are an excellent starting point for anyone curious about possible mold exposure.
Whether you want to lose 5 or 50 pounds, we can help you reach your goal with a strategy that works for you, but is also safe and ensures the highest probability of keeping the weight off. If you’ve been struggling to lose weight, your ND will likely assess several hormone levels and ensure that there is no medical condition that might be standing in the way. Starting with the basics, you will receive a diet plan, exercise plan, as well as customized supplements to accelerate the weight loss. IV therapy is an additional option to boost metabolism which we’ve had great results with. None of our practitioners endorse the ‘hCG diet’ approach.
